Available in both matt emulsion and eggshell finishes.

Matt Emulsion is a pigment-rich water-based soft matt finish for walls and ceilings, that combines durability with good coverage and ease of application.
Eggshell is a durable and modern water-based version of a classic eggshell finish with a low subtle sheen that is suitable for interior doors, trim and general woodwork.

Colours on screen may vary from the actual paint - we recommend ordering a paint card or a tester pot (available in matt emulsion only).

Yes, our paint is available in matt emulsion (for walls) and low sheen eggshell (for wood and metal).

Matt emulsion is a pigment-rich paint suitable for walls and ceilings with a soft matt finish, whilst eggshell is a durable paint suitable for interior doors, trim and general woodwork with a subtle sheen. All our paints are water-based and available in both matt emulsion and eggshell finishes.

Yes, our low sheen eggshell paint can be used on woodwork and produces a soft sheen finish with added durability.

Our paint is formulated with safe ingredients to comply with the toy safety regulation BS EN71-3:2019. They are child and pet friendly and safe for use throughout the whole home including children’s toys and rooms.

Yes, our paint is suitable for bathrooms. Our matt emulsion can be used if your bathroom is well ventilated, with the tougher qualities of our eggshell making it more suitable for more extreme conditions. You can find more information in our help with painting guide.

Paint should be kept in a dry, frost-free environment and out of direct sunlight. Make sure the lid is securely closed to prevent air spoiling the paint. Paint should be stored away from food and drink and out of reach from children.

If the surface you are painting is in good condition and properly prepared, you usually won’t need a primer or undercoat. However, if the surface is bare or unsound, you should carry out good preparation and apply the appropriate primer. We’ve put together some of our hints and tips in our help with painting guide.

single coat of matt emulsion or eggshell paint should cover around 10-12 square metres per litre. However, please be aware that there are a number of factors that affect paint coverage, namely the way in which the paint is applied and the porosity of the surface that is being painted.

We’d always recommend leaving a minimum of 4 hours between coats. If you need any help with your painting project, take a look at our help with painting guide.

In most cases, two coats would be needed. However, if you are painting a particularly porous surface or the colour change is dramatic, you may need to apply additional coats. Please see our guide on help with painting.
